VIXSOUND has three subscription plans: Starter at $9/month, Studio at $29/month, and Ultra at $79/month. Every plan includes a 7-day free trial, full access to the in-Ableton chat assistant, MIDI generation, local stem separation, audio analysis, and audio-to-MIDI transcription.

How do producers do this manually in Ableton?

The plans differ on monthly credit allowance and whether Pro mode (a more capable AI model tuned for advanced reasoning) is unlocked. Credits meter usage transparently: chat costs 1 credit per ~1,000 tokens, stem separation costs 10 credits per file, audio analysis costs 2 credits, and audio-to-MIDI costs 5 credits.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free trial?
Yes. All three plans include a 7-day free trial. You enter a payment method up front (required by Stripe), but no charge happens until the trial ends and you can cancel any time during those 7 days. The full credit allowance for your selected plan is available during the trial.
What is a credit?
Credits are how usage is metered. Chat costs 1 credit per ~1,000 tokens (input + output combined, rounded up). Stem separation costs 10 credits per file. Audio analysis costs 2 credits. Audio-to-MIDI transcription costs 5 credits. Pro mode (Studio + Ultra plans) bills chat at 5× the standard rate because it uses a more capable AI model for harder reasoning tasks.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Credits reset on the 1st of every calendar month UTC. If you're approaching your limit, the chat will warn you. Studio and Ultra plans have generous headroom — most working producers use 30–60% of their monthly allowance.
Can I switch plans?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from the dashboard. Upgrades apply immediately and prorate the remaining billing period; downgrades take effect at the next renewal so you don't lose paid time.
Is annual billing cheaper?
Yes. Annual billing on all three plans saves ~17% vs monthly. The credit allowance is the same per month, just paid up front.
Do I own the music I make with VIXSOUND?
Yes — 100%. VIXSOUND generates MIDI, which your DAW renders through your own instruments. There are no royalties, no attribution requirements, and no restrictions on releasing or selling. Your audio also stays on your machine — stem separation and audio analysis run locally.
Which OS and DAW versions are supported?
macOS 12+ on Apple Silicon and Intel. Ableton Live 11 and Live 12, both Standard and Suite. Logic Pro and Windows are on the waitlist.
