Try VIXSOUND Free for 7 Days

Updated Aug 7, 2026

VIXSOUND has a 7-day free trial on all three plans — Starter at $9/mo, Studio at $29/mo, or Ultra at $79/mo. During the trial you get 500 AI credits and every feature included in the plan: natural-language MIDI generation across multiple tracks, local stem separation via Demucs, audio analysis (BPM and key detection), polyphonic audio-to-MIDI transcription, project-aware sound design help, and arrangement assistance — all inside Ableton Live, all from a single chat panel.

How do producers do this manually in Ableton?

The trial uses Stripe's standard "trialing" status: you enter a payment method when you sign up (Stripe stores it, we don't), but no charge happens until the trial ends. Cancel any time during the 7 days and you pay nothing.

How does VIXSOUND speed this up?

This is different from the optional no-card signup that grants 100 free credits — that path is shorter and not the 7-day trial. We recommend trialing the Studio plan — it has the broadest fit for working producers and you can downgrade to Starter or upgrade to Ultra at any point without losing paid time.

How the trial works

1

Pick a plan and sign up

Studio is the best fit for most producers. Stripe collects a payment method but does not charge.

2

Install + open Ableton

Download the signed app for macOS or Windows, install it, sign in. The app starts the local bridge and the chat panel sits next to your Live session.

3

Use it · keep it · or cancel

7 days · 500 credits. Cancel any time from the dashboard if it's not for you.

What you get during the trial

  • Chat-driven MIDI generation — chord progressions, basslines, drum patterns, melodies on new tracks
  • Local stem separation via Demucs (4 or 6 stems, no cloud upload)
  • Audio analysis — BPM and key detection on any clip
  • Polyphonic audio-to-MIDI transcription
  • Pro mode (if trialing Studio or Ultra) — Claude Sonnet 5 for harder prompts
  • 100% ownership of every MIDI clip and audio file you generate

Frequently asked questions

Is the free trial really free?
Yes. For 7 days you get 500 AI credits and full feature access for your selected plan, with no charge. Stripe requires a payment method up front, but the first charge happens at the end of the trial — and only if you haven't cancelled. Cancel before day 7 and you pay nothing.
Is this the same as the 100 free credits option?
No. The 7-day trial (this page) requires picking a plan and adding a payment method — you get 500 credits over 7 days. Separately, you can sign up with no card for 100 free credits; that path is a shorter evaluation, not the 7-day trial. For a fair test of your Ableton workflow, use the 7-day trial.
Why does it ask for a credit card?
Trials with payment-method-up-front have meaningfully better completion-to-paid rates and fewer abandoned trials clogging support, so we lean into Stripe's standard "trialing" status. The card is stored by Stripe (not by us), is never charged during the 7 days, and any charge after the trial is openly disclosed before signup.
Which plan should I trial?
Studio ($29/mo, 4,000 credits after trial, includes Pro mode) is the best fit for most producers and is what we recommend if you're not sure. During the trial every plan shares the same 500-credit cap; after conversion you get your plan's full monthly allowance. You can downgrade to Starter at any time during or after the trial without losing paid time, and upgrade to Ultra if you need more headroom.
What can I do during the 7 days?
Everything the plan includes: chat-driven MIDI generation across multiple tracks, local stem separation via Demucs, BPM/key audio analysis, polyphonic audio-to-MIDI transcription, sound design assistance, arrangement help, and Pro mode (if you trial Studio or Ultra). You get 500 credits during the trial — enough for a thorough evaluation. If you hit the cap early, you can pay to unlock your full plan immediately, or wait for the trial to convert.
How do I cancel?
Dashboard → Subscription → Cancel. Takes one click. Cancellation is effective immediately and you keep access until the trial end date or current paid period.
What do I need to start?
A Mac running macOS 12+ (Apple Silicon or Intel), or a Windows 10/11 (64-bit) PC, with Ableton Live 11 or 12 installed (Standard or Suite — Lite isn't supported). The macOS installer is signed and notarised (~120 MB); the Windows build is Authenticode-signed and currently in public beta. Logic Pro is on the waitlist.
