Yes. Everything you create with VIXSOUND is 100% yours. Release on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, license for film, TV, games, sell beats — no royalties owed, no attribution required, no restrictions. You’re the artist.
Is there a copyright issue with AI-generated music?
Unlike AI tools that generate full audio (which face legal uncertainty), VIXSOUND generates MIDI data — essentially musical instructions. Your own instruments and plugins produce the final sound. You direct the creative process, making the copyright unambiguously yours.
Is my music private? What data do you collect?
Your audio files, project files, and stems never leave your computer. All audio processing (analysis, stem separation) runs locally on your machine. Only your text messages to the AI are sent to generate responses — we don’t store your conversations, we don’t store your music, and we never use your data to train models.
Which DAWs are supported?
VIXSOUND currently supports Ableton Live 11 and later on macOS. Logic Pro support is coming soon — join the waitlist below to get early access.
What are AI credits?
Credits are how you pay for AI actions. A typical chat message costs about 1 credit. Credits refresh every month. If you run out, you can enable extra usage at $0.05/credit with a monthly cap you control, or upgrade your plan.
What's included in the 7-day free trial?
Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial that includes 500 AI credits — enough to fully test VIXSOUND. You won’t be charged during the trial. You can cancel anytime before it ends and you won’t be billed. If you hit the 500-credit cap before the trial ends, you can pay early to unlock your full plan immediately, or wait for the trial to convert.
Do I need an internet connection?
You need internet for the AI chat and MIDI generation. However, audio analysis, stem separation, and audio-to-MIDI transcription all run locally and work offline.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your profile at any time. You keep full access until the end of your billing period. No cancellation fees, no questions asked.
