How much can I actually earn?
20% recurring on every paid plan, every month, for the first 12 months of each customer you refer. The more active referrals you have, the more your monthly income compounds. A handful of referrals on our higher-tier plans adds up to meaningful passive income over a year.
What does the commission apply to?
Only to the base plan subscription (Starter, Studio, or Ultra — monthly or annual). Extra usage charges, one-time add-ons, and any future top-ups your referrals buy on top of their plan are not commissionable. The 7-day free trial is also not paid out — commission starts when their first paid invoice clears.
How long is the cookie window?
60 days. If someone clicks your link and signs up within 60 days, you get the credit — even if they don't subscribe right away.
When and how do I get paid?
Monthly, via PayPal, after a 30-day hold on each commission (to account for refunds and cancellations). Minimum payout is $50; balances roll over below that.
Who is a good fit?
Music producers, beatmakers, sound designers, and educators with an active audience on YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, TikTok, X, podcasts, newsletters, blogs, or courses. Especially welcomed: creators in the Ableton, sound design, and electronic-production space.
Can I use paid ads?
Yes for non-branded keywords (e.g. 'AI for Ableton', 'audio to MIDI tool'). No bidding on 'vixsound' or any of our trademarked terms — that competes with our own ads and we'll have to remove the partner.
What about discounts or coupons?
On request we can issue you a partner code that gives your audience a small discount. We don't stack discount + full commission — pick one strategy that fits your audience.
Can I review VIXSOUND honestly, including downsides?
Absolutely. We expect honest reviews. The product isn't perfect (yet) and we'd rather you tell people what's missing — that builds trust with your audience and gives us better feedback.
